This document describes the conditions under which Rural Digital Nomads, a registered brand of the company Virgula, Unipessoal, LDA, number of legal person 513485597, now abbreviated by “Rural Digital Nomads”, proceeds to data processing operations.
Given the new legal framework, Rural Digital Nomads has internally adopted measures that it considers appropriate to protect the personal data subject to treatment. They configure personal data, for example, the name, identification number, location data or personal contacts. Collection, storage, registration, change, consultation, use, transmission and destruction activities represent data processing operations.
Data processing operations are in accordance with national legislation and regulation of personal data protection 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of April 27, 2016, applicable.
Data collection ways
Rural Digital Nomads is collected through online forms on its website and/or web pages dedicated to the purpose and under its management, as well as physically, through data collection for the purpose of generating billing documents, contracts services, satisfaction forms, or others.
In the online case, the forms are: Directory; Subscription of newsletters on the website.
Personal data collected
Data Directory of Portuguese Startups: Name, Description, Startup Address, Web Site Address, Phone, Email, with the purpose of creating a Directorate of Portuguese Startups. These data will be treated for this purpose only.
Newsletter Subscriber Data: At one point expressly shared your data (name, email) with Rural Digital Nomads, via website or other support with the objective of receiving information, activities, actions and/or entrepreneurship projects promoted by Rural Digital Nomads and/or its partners. Each shipping is given the possibility of removing the list of recipients by the holder himself.
Anonymous data: Website activity monitoring.
The data collected are treatment for the period strictly necessary to perform the specific purpose of each.
Personal information of minors
Rural Digital Nomads does not provide services or assistance to minors, so it does not collect or perform data from minors.
Purpose of the data collected
Rural Digital Nomads processes data collected with a view to revenue from its services, communication of its activities, compliance with contractual and legal obligations, sharing information of interest to the data subject, optimization of the website and online tools of its responsibility, including content management and prioritization.
The purpose of the processing of personal data is determined with the respective legal basis pursuant to the provisions of article 6 (3) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“RGPD”).
Transmission of data to third parties
Data dealt with by Rural Digital Nomads may be transmitted to third parties by legal imposition, or by investigation of the competent authorities. Rural Digital Nomads uses other entities in some cases to assist in the provision of its services. Whenever this occurs, subcontracted entities are required to comply with the standards and regulations of protecting personal data through technical and organizational means at their disposal. (Example: MailChimp (Newsletter), PHCGO (invoices).
Data security
Rural Digital Nomads uses various technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from data holders. In case of subcontracting of service suppliers, they will have to ensure the same level of protection.
The violation, or attempted violation, of the personal data by which it is responsible will be communicated to the judicial authorities, as well as control and supervision. If the violation is a high risk for personal data holders, they will be the same as the incident.
Rights of data holders
The exercise of rights and freedoms to data holders is guaranteed, through the contacts present below in the present privacy policy, namely: right of information; Right of access; Right of rectification; Right of deletion; Right to limitation of treatment; Right of data portability; Opposition right.

Data conservation time
The period of time during which data is processed varies according to the purpose for which information is dealt with, being the subject of treatment for the period strictly necessary to perform the specific purpose of each.
Once the maximum conservation period is reached, personal data will be irreversibly anonymized (anonymous data may be conserved s) or will be safely destroyed, except when there are legal requirements that require the data to preserve the data for a minimum period of time. In this case, the data will be kept for this time period (example: billing data).
In case of contestation of legal situations and during the period they remain, the data will also be maintained.
